Southern black metal? Is that a thing? Apparently yeah! Innovative and unique guitar driven black metal with southern/country influences that keeps the essence of black metal. The musicianship is superb and vocal performance is outstanding. Highly original and enjoyable. Buy!

While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended!
